1097 words
rating: PG
WARNINGS:
Set sometime after season 10. Daniel is finally ready to move ahead with his life but he’s not expecting the surprise that comes out of Vala’s room late one night. And he’s not sure he’ll ever get over it.
don’t own… wish I did, but I don’t. No infringement intended.
The room’s dark, but Daniel likes it that way. And the song on the radio is depressing and full of sadness. That’s okay with him, too. It fits his mood. He’s on the floor—he thinks in his bedroom—still dressed in the clothes he wore yesterday. He has no idea how long he’s been lying there. Time seems to have little meaning, just blurring together along with his vision. Last thing he remembers is popping open his fifth beer. Things get fuzzy after that.

WARNINGS:
Daniel, Vala and the sunrise—just a little bit of talking. And a lot more action.

It’s still dark when Daniel’s watch goes off. He gropes for the small button that stifles the noise, groaning into his jacket balled under his head. With a yawn, and great effort, he hauls himself up and slides his feet into his boots.

“Don’t you look spiffy.”
“Huh?” Daniel looked up to find Mitchell watching him. Confused, he glanced down at his clothes.
Mitchell smirked. “What’s with the get-up?”

Another mission with Vala goes horribly wrong for Daniel. Written for challenge #17 at writerverse, prompt: in the shadows.

The sound of footsteps drew closer. Daniel found himself instinctively holding his breath. He flattened himself against the wall as best he could, hoping the shadows would hide him.

WARNINGS:
Vala does things her own way and the rest of the team is just going to have to get used to that. Set post series after Sam has left for Atlantis.

“What do you have to trade?” the man said with a gruff voice. Cam narrowed his eyes at him but said nothing. This was Vala’s mission, her domain.
“Trade? Not much. I’ve got something… a little more entertaining in mind,” her accent was more pronounced when she was being seductive.
“Oh, yeah? Show me.” Read the rest of this entry »
Written for the “Aliens Made Them Do It” challenge at
stargateland because it’s such a fun trope to write. And finished just under the wire.
Don’t Drink the Wine

Stargate SG-1
Daniel/Vala
864 words
rating: PG-13
WARNINGS: I guess dub-con ’cause they can’t really remember what happened
It’s cliché but so much fun when “aliens made them do it”. Daniel and Vala get caught after participating in a wedding ceremony on an alien planet. He really should know better by now.

A boot connected with Daniel’s side. He groaned and rolled away, snuggling deeper into his sleeping bag. His head was killing him—felt like a full marching band playing the 1812 Overture in there, complete with canons. The boot nudged him again, a little more insistent this time.
“Go way,” Daniel mumbled. He was vaguely aware of other voices around him but had neither the will nor want to get up or even to try and understand what they were saying. After a short discussion the foot ground into his back and shook violently.

WARNINGS:
Daniel and Vala are stranded in a cave during a violent storm.
don’t own… wish I did, but I don’t. No infringement intended.
The cave was cold and damp. Like just about every other cave Daniel found himself in over his lifetime. Which was a surprisingly high amount. Next to him Vala mumbled under her breath and pulled her knees up to her chest, wrapping her jacket around them. Her hair was plastered to her face, rain dripping from the tip of her nose onto her mud caked pants. She wiped absently at a strand of loose hair until Daniel reached over to push it behind her ear, startling her.

This is the 2nd story for challenge #1 at
fictionland with the theme of beginnings. It wasn’t written necessarily as a sequel to Save the Last Dance but you can take it that way if you like.
Just the Beginning

Stargate SG-1
(Daniel/Vala)

rating: PG-13
WARNINGS:
The morning after starring Daniel and Vala… it’s just as awkward as Daniel knew it would be.
don’t own… wish I did, but I don’t. No infringement intended.
Daniel felt his face flush. He glanced over at the woman sharing his bed. Her thick, dark hair swam around her head in a tangled mess, almost completely covering the pillow. She clasped the edge of the blanket tightly to her chest. Her bare chest. He looked back up at the ceiling.
Daniel couldn’t remember Vala ever looking so unsure of herself. Or so beautiful. He realized she was waiting for some kind of reply. Swallowing the growing lump of uncertainty in his throat he said, “yeah, kind of.” Read the rest of this entry »
Yep more fic! Another story for
stargateland . This one for day 5 of theme week for the prompt: 14- SG1, Daniel Jackson/Vala Mal Doran, save the last dance for me. I don’t usually write Daniel/Vala so not sure if I got the voices right but it was still fun to write. I’m more of a Jack/Sam girl (if you hadn’t noticed). But I like Daniel and Vala, too.
Save the Last Dance
by jennickels (aka Jen Connelly)
Stargate SG-1
Daniel/Vala, Cam
2880 words
rating: PG
WARNINGS:
At Jack and Sam’s wedding Daniel finally gets a dance with the very popular Vala Mal Doran. It just takes a little prodding from Cam to get him there.
don’t own… wish I did, but I don’t. No infringement intended.
Daniel slumped into one of the folding chairs sitting cock-eyed to a random table. The white cloth covering this particular table was listing slightly to the far side, the centerpiece now ready to fall from the edge. He stretched his legs out and sighed. It had been a long night. But good.
He glanced over to the dance floor where Jack twirled Sam around, her white dress flowing gracefully between her legs. He’d never seen either of his friends this happy before. A smile pulled at his mouth. He was happy for them. Very happy. They deserved this after all those years of pretending and denying and sacrificing. Jack suddenly pulled Sam close and whispered something into her ear. She reacted by throwing her arms around his neck and kissing him pretty passionately. Read the rest of this entry »
