This was a scraplift I did from a page I found at the Creating Keepsakes website. I found the flag pin online and photoshopped it in. I think I could do better now (and this was only from a couple months ago) and have more red, white and blue kits/elements I could add. But I like it.
The picture is from the Coraopolis, PA, Memorial Day parade in 2007. The town (just outside of Pittsburgh) has a parade every year. We lived on the street the parade was on and could see the parade from our living room windows but it is more fun to sit outside. We got to see it in 2006 and 2007 and the kids just had a blast. The vets handed out the little flags to all the kids on the parade route and there was tons of candy and just fun spending time with the neighbors. They really missed it this last year.
