Day one has officially ended, and I didn’t write a single word after leaving the Midnight Write-in. Apparently I’m getting to old to do all-nighters. Between being up all night, writing, driving a friend home, and having to drive all the way back to the airport to retrieve my forgotten phone, I just couldn’t function. Even after sleeping most of the day, I could barely see straight, let alone create a coherent thought to write down.
My total for day 1 stayed at 2875, which was still ahead of the game.
