Veterans Day

Ninety-five years ago today, we celebrated the first Armistice Day. November 11 because a national holiday in 1938 as what we now know as Veteran’s Day–a day to celebrate all those that have served in the protection of our country.

There are many people I’d like to thank for their service: Dennis Gordon, Pat Gordon, Howard Gordon, Carl Brooks, Miranda Gordon, Crystal Sobus, Tim Ranger, Chris Ranger, Alex Connelly, Pat Connelly, Carl Gordon, and the many, many more that I’m forgetting.

And I want to thank my dad, Alan Nicholson who served in Vietnam in the Marine Corps.

papakids_091013Thank you for your service.
